    The HTCT80 from Sony is their Bluetooth-enabled entry level Soundbar and Subwoofer home theatre package. Wireless connectivity such as NFC and Bluetooth make sharing your favourite tracks easy.

    The wired Subwoofer that comes with this Soundbar is designed to give your movies and music an extra kick. Thanks to the Bluetooth connectivity, sharing music and connecting to this Soundbar is a breeze.

    USB File Playback

    This device has a built-in ability to play content right from a USB storage device. This is especially useful if you keep a lot of content digitally stored and need an easy way to play it.

    2.1 Channel Audio

    Add an extra kick to your TV viewing with 2.1 channel audio. Great for smaller rooms, bedrooms and great for setups where you want extra clarity and volume without having to go for a full 5.1 channel setup.

    Optical Input

    Brand new sounds
    Didn't realise how boring the old sound was on our old TV,Music & Film soundtrack are as different again.

    Good but not Great
    The sound quality is a lot better than my new Sony 4k tvs standalone sound but is far from surround sound brilliant. Ironically the sound gets better as you ramp up the sound but is best at a level guaranteed to have your neighbours banging on the door.Finally the sound bar covers the sensor on the front of the tv which means you having to stand up to change the channels.

    Great design, Some usability issues
    The bar looks great and sounds average, the bass does not have full sound if you wanted deep heavy bass ideal for action movies. the one biggest annoyance is the need switch on the sound bar separately to the tv. this means you will always have to have both remotes to hand if you'd like to watch tv. Further more,there is set standby time where the sound bar would switch off after 5 mins of no audio input, this can be extremely annoying you pause the tv and leave the room for a more than 5 mins.
