    Hi there, Thank you for your enquiry, Dimplex has specified that this particular unit will definitely take much longer to cool down the room in comparison to a split system air conditioner. However, it does have the cooling capacity to bring down the room to 22 degrees. Factors such as the room size and current temperature will play a role in how long it could take to cool the area.     HI John, Thanks for your question. According to the product manual for this model. There is an options for fixed or oscillating airflow.
